There is a site in Europe that has a lot of fractal images.  They are
all of the Mandelbrot set, but they are of very interesting areas and
are well done.  A lot of time was put into selecting them and editing
that colormap.  I recomend to anybody to take a look at them.
 
One note, though - they were generated on SUN workstation and designed
to be able to be placed in the root window which means that they are 
about 1180x900x256.  This may or may not be a problem.
