Chaos Pro Fractal program features

ChaosPro v2.0 is a fractal program, which makes use of the Windows GUI. It is a multithreaded MDI application, so you can calculate several fractals at the same time.

It can be downloaded from the simtel program archive.

Its main features are:

• Supports several fractal types from FractInt: ChaosPro can load FractInt's parameter files, ignoring the entries it does not know, loading the entries supported by the program.
• Formula editor for creating your own formulas. Almost compatible with FractInt, thus again ChaosPro can load FractInt's formula files.
• Palette maps from FractInt can be loaded, too.
• Supports some of Tierazon's coloring modes. Can read some of Tierazon's *.zar files.
• 3D transformation of 2D fractals (Julia/Mandel/Plasma).
• Animation support (all parameters known to the program can change, including 3D parameters, so animations using a 3D transformed fractal are possible).
• 24 bit support (using CPM or DEM) to create colorful images without stripes.
• Network support (TCP/IP necessary) to speed up the calculation process.
